While studying for his BA at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Jonathan explored human entanglement in the environment and history, and created a body of work exploring past and present commercialism.
In his Photography MA, Jonathan explored Victorian sites and the theory of Hauntology, linking the past and present. Inspired by bygone photographic practices, he developed a body of work using stereophotography. This has become his main stay of work and taken him into more practical skills of building and designing stereoscopes.
